HOW MUCH IS TATTOO REMOVAL
At LaserAway Castro, tattoo removal costs typically range from $200 to $420 per session, while a complete removal package costs $2,008 total on average. Your final cost depends mainly on the tattoo's size, ink colors, location and density, as well as your skin tone.

Dollar Bill

* LaserAway publishes rates for two size tiers, Quarter and Dollar Bill. Three larger tiers, up to Full Page, and its 3- and 10-treatment package pricing, are not published and require a free consultation.
Refund Policy
All treatment sales are final and non-refundable, including unused sessions in a multi-session package. In the rare case corporate approves an exception, refunds are issued only as store credit, never cash or a card reversal. Pre-paid sessions cannot be transferred to another person. When a package includes free promotional sessions, paid sessions are counted as used first — the free sessions carry $0 cash or refund value.
No-Show Policy
Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Missing that window or not showing up forfeits the entire prepaid session — LaserAway deducts one full treatment from your package balance rather than charging a fee. Initial consultations are exempt: no penalty for cancelling or rescheduling those.
Financing Options
Financing requires a credit check. LaserAway accepts CareCredit, a medical credit card with a 0%-interest introductory period — but if you don't pay off the full balance before that period ends, you get charged interest on the whole amount, not just what's left. They also work with outside lenders like Cherry to set up monthly payment plans. With good credit, a full 16-session package for a quarter-sized tattoo can be financed for around $109 a month over a year.

Customers describe LaserAway Castro as having professional and welcoming staff, though experiences vary significantly. Many clients praise the friendly atmosphere and clean facilities, while others report frustrating service issues. Several customers highlight the staff's expertise and caring approach during treatments, though some express concerns about high-pressure sales tactics and scheduling difficulties. The consultation process receives mixed feedback, with many customers praising consultant Mateo for being thorough, client, and informative without applying pressure. However, several clients report aggressive sales practices, with staff making multiple follow-up calls and texts immediately after inquiries. Some customers describe "personalized pricing" that varies by individual rather than transparent flat rates. Scheduling appears problematic, with multiple reports of last-minute appointment cancellations and rescheduling issues. Front desk staff receive both praise for being helpful and welcoming, as well as criticism for unprofessional behavior and poor communication. Customers report varying results from tattoo removal treatments. One client saw significant progress over five sessions, with their tattoo fading from extremely dark to grey. However, others express frustration with minimal results, with some reporting no visible change after multiple sessions. Several customers suspect laser settings are kept deliberately low to require more treatments. The number of recommended sessions appears to vary, with some being quoted 10-15 treatments for small tattoos, which some clients found excessive compared to their research. Tattoo removal pain levels vary among customers. Some report the process being less painful than expected, while others describe it as uncomfortable. Numbing cream is available but appears to be an additional cost rather than included in treatment packages. Staff generally check in with clients during procedures to ensure comfort levels. Customers consistently describe pricing as expensive, with some calling it above standard market rates. The clinic offers package deals and financing options, though some clients report confusion about what services are actually included in their packages. Several customers mention being charged for services they believed were covered, and refund policies appear restrictive with some clients reporting difficulty getting money back for unused treatments.
