* LaserAway publishes rates for two size tiers, Quarter and Dollar Bill. Three larger tiers, up to Full Page, and its 3- and 10-treatment package pricing, are not published and require a free consultation.
Refund Policy
All treatment sales are final and non-refundable, including unused sessions in a multi-session package. In the rare case corporate approves an exception, refunds are issued only as store credit, never cash or a card reversal. Pre-paid sessions cannot be transferred to another person. When a package includes free promotional sessions, paid sessions are counted as used first — the free sessions carry $0 cash or refund value.
No-Show Policy
Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Missing that window or not showing up forfeits the entire prepaid session — LaserAway deducts one full treatment from your package balance rather than charging a fee. Initial consultations are exempt: no penalty for cancelling or rescheduling those.
Financing Options
Financing requires a credit check. LaserAway accepts CareCredit, a medical credit card with a 0%-interest introductory period — but if you don't pay off the full balance before that period ends, you get charged interest on the whole amount, not just what's left. They also work with outside lenders like Cherry to set up monthly payment plans. With good credit, a full 16-session package for a quarter-sized tattoo can be financed for around $109 a month over a year.

Customers consistently describe the Northbrook location as professional, welcoming, and trustworthy. The facility maintains a clean, modern environment with friendly staff who create a comfortable atmosphere. Most customers report positive experiences with visible results from treatments, though a small number have expressed concerns about effectiveness and sales practices. The clinic employs registered nurses who perform treatments, including frequently mentioned nurses Jasmine, Chantal, Cassandra, Elise, and Stephanie. Customers describe the nursing staff as knowledgeable, professional, and skilled in their respective areas. The nurses are praised for their gentle approach, attention to detail, and ability to make clients feel comfortable during procedures. Staff members are noted for their expertise in adjusting treatments based on individual skin types and comfort levels. Front desk staff, particularly Sumra, Irene, and Alexis, receive praise for being welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful with scheduling. Staff members explain procedures thoroughly and answer questions patiently. Some customers appreciate the flexibility with appointment scheduling and rescheduling. However, several reviews mention aggressive sales tactics and pressure to purchase expensive packages. A few customers report difficulty with customer service when seeking refunds or addressing concerns about treatment results. Customers report seeing progress with tattoo removal treatments, with some noting significant fading after just a few sessions. The process is described as relatively quick, typically lasting about 15 minutes per session. Staff explain the procedure clearly and set appropriate expectations for results and healing time. One customer mentioned being in their third session with almost complete tattoo removal, while another noted visible progress after their first treatment. Most customers describe tattoo removal as manageable, with some calling it "almost painless" or comparing the sensation to a rubber band snapping. Nurses check on clients frequently during treatments and offer breaks when needed. The clinic provides numbing cream for more sensitive procedures, and staff are described as gentle and attentive to client comfort levels throughout the process. Several customers mention promotional pricing, including 50% off deals for tattoo removal. While some find the pricing competitive and affordable, others describe treatments as expensive, with packages ranging from several hundred to several thousand dollars. The clinic offers financing options, though some customers reported issues with credit checks and loan terms. A few reviews suggest that positive reviews may be incentivized with service credits.
