HOW MUCH IS TATTOO REMOVAL

At LaserAway in Tampa, tattoo removal costs typically range from $200 to $420 per session, while a complete removal package costs $2,008 total on average. The final price depends primarily on your tattoo's ink colors, size, location and density, plus your skin tone.

Quarter

$200/session

Dollar Bill

$420/session

* LaserAway publishes rates for two size tiers, Quarter and Dollar Bill. Three larger tiers, up to Full Page, and its 3- and 10-treatment package pricing, are not published and require a free consultation.

Refund Policy

All treatment sales are final and non-refundable, including unused sessions in a multi-session package. In the rare case corporate approves an exception, refunds are issued only as store credit, never cash or a card reversal. Pre-paid sessions cannot be transferred to another person. When a package includes free promotional sessions, paid sessions are counted as used first — the free sessions carry $0 cash or refund value.

No-Show Policy

Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Missing that window or not showing up forfeits the entire prepaid session — LaserAway deducts one full treatment from your package balance rather than charging a fee. Initial consultations are exempt: no penalty for cancelling or rescheduling those.

Financing Options

Financing requires a credit check. LaserAway accepts CareCredit, a medical credit card with a 0%-interest introductory period — but if you don't pay off the full balance before that period ends, you get charged interest on the whole amount, not just what's left. They also work with outside lenders like Cherry to set up monthly payment plans. With good credit, a full 16-session package for a quarter-sized tattoo can be financed for around $109 a month over a year.

Based on 282 patient reviews

Customers consistently describe this clinic as welcoming, professional, and exceptionally clean. The overwhelming sentiment is positive, with many clients noting the friendly atmosphere and high-quality service. Staff members receive frequent praise for being accommodating, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring about client comfort and results. The front desk and customer service experience receives excellent reviews across the board. Staff members like Grace, Katie, Lindsay, and Zoe are frequently mentioned for their helpful, client approach during consultations and scheduling. Customers report feeling welcomed from the moment they walk in, with staff offering beverages and taking time to thoroughly explain treatments without pressure. The team appears responsive to questions and concerns, though some customers experienced scheduling difficulties and appointment cancellations due to staffing issues or system problems. Several clients mention successful financing options and flexible payment plans, though some felt pressured into loan agreements rather than pay-as-you-go options. One customer reports seeing visible tattoo fading after just a few weeks following their first treatment, expressing excitement about continued progress. The location director thoroughly explained the entire process, pre and post-care instructions, and what to expect during treatment. However, serious concerns emerge from other experiences, with one customer reporting permanent damage including keloid scarring, hyperpigmentation, and burned skin. This customer felt their concerns were dismissed with reassurances not to worry, leading to continued treatments that worsened the damage. Another customer expressed dissatisfaction with results and customer service after completing treatments. Most customers report minimal to no pain during treatments, with many expressing surprise at how comfortable the procedures were. Several clients mention being nervous beforehand but feeling at ease once treatment began. The clinic appears to use cooling systems during treatments, with customers noting the "cooling air" helped distract from any discomfort. Ice is available as a pain management option, and staff members are described as client and attentive to comfort levels throughout procedures. Customers generally view pricing as reasonable and competitive, with several mentioning good value for money. The clinic offers various package deals and financing options through third-party providers, with monthly payment plans available. Some customers appreciate the convenience of not having to tip, unlike traditional waxing services. However, concerns arise about transparency, with some clients feeling they were given different prices during phone consultations versus in-person visits, and others reporting additional costs for achieving promised results.
