HOW MUCH IS TATTOO REMOVAL

At LaserAway in Woodbury, tattoo removal costs typically range from $200 to $420 per session, while a complete removal package costs $2,008 total on average. The final price depends primarily on your tattoo's ink colors, size, location and density, plus your skin tone.

Quarter

$200/session

Dollar Bill

$420/session

* LaserAway publishes rates for two size tiers, Quarter and Dollar Bill. Three larger tiers, up to Full Page, and its 3- and 10-treatment package pricing, are not published and require a free consultation.

Refund Policy

All treatment sales are final and non-refundable, including unused sessions in a multi-session package. In the rare case corporate approves an exception, refunds are issued only as store credit, never cash or a card reversal. Pre-paid sessions cannot be transferred to another person. When a package includes free promotional sessions, paid sessions are counted as used first — the free sessions carry $0 cash or refund value.

No-Show Policy

Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Missing that window or not showing up forfeits the entire prepaid session — LaserAway deducts one full treatment from your package balance rather than charging a fee. Initial consultations are exempt: no penalty for cancelling or rescheduling those.

Financing Options

Financing requires a credit check. LaserAway accepts CareCredit, a medical credit card with a 0%-interest introductory period — but if you don't pay off the full balance before that period ends, you get charged interest on the whole amount, not just what's left. They also work with outside lenders like Cherry to set up monthly payment plans. With good credit, a full 16-session package for a quarter-sized tattoo can be financed for around $109 a month over a year.

LaserAway Woodbury Reviews

4.8

out of 5

Based on 401 patient reviews

Customers describe LaserAway Woodbury as professional and welcoming with a modern, comfortable setting. The clinic receives praise for accommodating staff, though some report disappointing results despite completing full treatment packages. Nurse Ailen stands out as exceptionally kind with "the touch of an angel," while Lauren is thorough, safety-focused, and frequently requested for future appointments. Nurse Eileen is praised for being gentle and skilled at ensuring client comfort during procedures. Front desk staff, particularly Lisa, receive praise for being welcoming, and the team generally explains procedures clearly before treatments. Scheduling is typically easy and accommodating, though some customers experienced last-minute cancellations with poor communication. Staff keep customers updated on promotions and customize treatment plans based on individual assessments. Customers consistently report minimal to no pain during treatments, with many describing procedures as "painless" and "comfortable." The clinic uses cooling systems, including cool air technology, to enhance comfort during laser sessions. Technicians take steps to distract clients and ensure they feel at ease throughout treatments, with numbing options available when needed. The facility uses IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology for various treatments, though customer experiences with results vary significantly - some report excellent outcomes while others experienced minimal reduction after completing full treatment packages. Equipment reliability has been an issue, with at least one appointment cancelled due to laser downtime. The clinic offers premium pricing with financing available through CareCredit and periodic promotional deals. However, some customers feel the high cost isn't justified by results, particularly when additional treatment packages are recommended after completing initial sessions.
